Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years inside sales management experience required
  • Endocrinology/Diabetes experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Experience in supervising/leadership role in related field required
  • Proven ability to consistently meet/exceed defined territory sales goals
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Advanced listening, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provides day to day supervision of sales/service rep including performance evaluations and management to ensure goals are met and/or exceeded
  • Reports to management on individual/team performance; works with management to develop performance improvement plans when necessary
  • Coaches team members for success and supports individual development of direct reports
  • Monitors inbound/outbound sales calls to ensure script adherence, call integrity, adverse event compliance, HIPAA compliance and proper phone technique
  • Conducts refresher training and the distribution of project updates; assists with New Hire training and onboarding
  • Ensure all client needs are met with a high degree of quality and compliance to applicable policies and procedures
  • Strategizes and collaborates internally to foster a culture and service of continuous quality improvement, offering creative solutions to client
  • Handles escalated calls from customers, as needed
  • Develops a contingency plan to maintain adequate coverage levels in the event of staff shortages. This may include serving as back up, when needed
  • Develops productivity improvement programs to increase customer reach and other productivity metrics
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports, possible report development and maintenance when necessary
  • Works in concert with both Human Resources department to enforce company policies and procedures
