Requirements

  • Experience in direct supervision and management of an Inside Sales Team
  • Ability to develop and execute sales plans in collaboration with Sales Leadership Team (SLT), including Regional Directors, Enterprise Team, District Managers, Sales Training, and VP of Sales
  • Capability to work with cross-functional teams such as Customer and Technical Service, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Commercial Excellence
  • Experience participating in or supervising work with third-party distribution partners
  • Knowledge of developing and sharing best-practices, market intelligence to support business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Lead the hiring, training, development, and retention of a world-class inside sales team
  • In collaboration with SLT and IST, develop and execute a sales plan to achieve/exceed assigned sales goals and business objectives
  • Direct, supervise, and manage Inside Sales Executives' (ISE) outbound calling activity to current and prospective customers to build sales funnel and close new business
  • Implement strategies and tactics for ISEs to develop and maintain trust-based relationships with assigned accounts
  • Ensure regular contact with top customers to ensure satisfaction and address issues
  • Ensure ISEs uncover and develop customer needs and position appropriate solutions
  • Establish and continuously refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including lead and lag measures, to ensure IST meets sales goals
