Requirements

  • Experience in sales or equivalent in the foodservice sector desirable but not mandatory
  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience. Canadian Professional Sales Association (ACPV) designation desirable
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, particularly in report analysis and data utilization
  • Proactive, autonomous individual with ability to structure a weekly schedule for success
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and e-commerce concepts
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with ability to implement multiple initiatives simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Define and highlight Sysco's value proposition to attract new clients and sell products, services, and promotions
  • Increase client portfolio share and improve revenue composition
  • Mandatory use of CRM tool (Sysco 360) for customer relationship management, pipeline, communication, and measurement
  • Manage an effective combination of order management channels, including phone, email, and e-commerce (minimum 50% e-commerce) for all client order management
  • Develop and retain a portfolio of accounts to achieve profitable sales growth in the assigned territory (Rive-Nord de Montréal, approximately $4 million in revenue)
  • Resolve client issues and ensure a positive client experience
  • Assess client needs and analyze market trends to develop client-focused solutions
  • Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor products/sales, and share information with clients as value-added services
  • Adopt a proactive approach to learning and development, actively participating in local, large-group, and specialized training programs to refine sales consulting skills and product knowledge
  • Manage credit and accounts receivable
  • Work traditional business hours, with potential variations based on client needs and overtime as required
  • Perform any other assigned tasks
