Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, with at least 2 years in a pre-sales or client consulting role with a strong sales focus. They should have exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, both on a whiteboard and through presentations and demos. Practical experience with SQL is preferred, ideally in an analytical context, as well as a broad understanding of database and data warehouse technologies, ETL tools, data and analytics platforms, and cloud technologies. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is also required. Functional English proficiency is necessary for communicating with English-speaking clients and managers.
The Technical Sales Consultant will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to clients’ managers and technical contributors, demonstrating and communicating the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proof of concept and solution design and implementation. They will collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to continuously improve Snowflake products and marketing. The consultant will immerse themselves in a constantly evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and how to position Snowflake accordingly. They will connect specific client business problems to Snowflake solutions and work with clients to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology.
