Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, specifically within infrastructure environments. Experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies such as Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS is highly desirable, as is familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker. A strong understanding of infrastructure concepts and methodologies is essential.
The Infrastructure Software Engineer will develop and maintain robust infrastructure for deploying Cognite’s products across multiple cloud platforms, including Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and OpenShift. They will also focus on building and improving the internal developer platform to streamline development processes and reduce cognitive load for engineers. Furthermore, this role involves collaborating with other engineering teams to optimize their services for Kubernetes environments and contributing to open source projects.
