Requirements

Candidates should possess empathy and an understanding of how to empower and support engineers, along with a high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple projects from initial concept through delivery and production support. Extensive experience with full developer toolchains in a modern SDLC, including CI/CD technologies, build automation and pipelines, and automated testing is required, as well as familiarity with public cloud infrastructure supporting multi-tenant software as a service products.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will support and develop engineers through feedback and coaching, setting context and expectations, and eliminating barriers to execution. They will own the engineering roadmap for Developer Infrastructure and manage projects within that roadmap, set priorities in partnership with the Infrastructure leadership team, establish delivery sequence, and drive day-to-day execution against those priorities. The role also involves owning the reliability of our Developer Infrastructure, partnering with other engineering leaders in driving process changes across teams, and being responsible for maintaining a healthy culture within the team.
