Candidates must possess hands-on experience in cabling installation, system maintenance, and network infrastructure setups in commercial, industrial, or government environments. An active Secret clearance or higher is required, along with a BICSI Certification.
The Infrastructure/Cable Technician will install, terminate, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems, including CAT5, CAT6, and Fiber Optic cables. They will conduct cable testing, resolve connectivity issues, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. Additionally, they will install cable pathways, maintain accurate documentation of installations, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
