Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting all aspects of enterprise infrastructure, networks, including layer 2 and layer 3 switching, routing and internet connectivity
  • 2+ years working on network automation
  • Proven working knowledge of Python or Ansible, Github and Rest APIs
  • Strong background in software development principles applied to infrastructure
  • Specific expertise in automating the build, deployment, updates, and patch management of networking components, cloud environments, and server operating systems

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production network environments
  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Think creatively and consider issues and challenges from the Cloud & Network Operations and Engineering perspectives; while bringing a pragmatic approach to solving issues
  • Assess day-to-day processes and provide thoughtful and insightful automated solutions to make them more efficient
  • Build and maintain technical and support documentation in order to keep standards up to date
  • Oversee the deployment
