Candidates must currently reside in Indiana and within 50 miles or 1 hour of the Capital Center Building. A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is required, along with demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail during calls. Prior experience managing multiple or competing priorities and using multiple computer applications simultaneously is necessary. Candidates must also have prior experience effectively communicating verbally with customers and accurately documenting member needs within multiple systems. A willingness to remain in the position for twelve months before applying for other opportunities is also required. Preferred qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor's Degree, prior inbound call center or related customer service experience, prior healthcare experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and MS Teams. Internet service must meet a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
The Indiana Medicaid Inbound Contacts Representative 2 will represent the company by addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries. This role involves performing varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments, including performing computations. The representative will address customer needs such as complex benefit questions, resolving issues, and educating members. They will record details of inquiries, comments, or complaints, transactions, or interactions, and take appropriate action. The role includes escalating unresolved and pending customer grievances. Decisions will focus on interpreting area/department policy and methods for completing assignments, with some latitude over prioritization and timing. The representative will follow standard policies and practices that allow for interpretation and independent discretion. There is potential for outbound call campaigns.
