Candidates should have 5+ years of SaaS project management experience in healthcare/health-tech companies and 2+ years of hands-on project management experience in SaaS implementations. A 4-year degree, experience in healthcare and/or employee benefits, and experience working with carriers, benefits administrators, consultants, and brokers are required. Project management certification (PMP, CSM) and knowledge of claims payment processing, medical management processes, and data integrations are also necessary.
The Implementation Project Manager will serve as a tactical project coordinator and operational execution partner to Implementation Consultants, creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, and managing project tracking, communication tools, and client-facing dashboards. They will coordinate cross-functional project activities, track project milestones, and ensure timely launches, while also supporting consultants in client meetings and facilitating key workstream efforts. The role involves serving as the primary liaison with carriers, benefits administrators, and third-party vendors, managing day-to-day relationships with external partners, and coordinating technical integrations and data exchange activities. Additionally, they will ensure transparent project communication, accurate launch deliverables, comprehensive project documentation, quality reviews of deliverables, and the creation of requirements documentation. The Implementation Project Manager will also develop project templates, standardized processes, take ownership of escalated issues, lead conflict resolution, manage risk identification and mitigation, identify process inefficiencies, and contribute to methodology development and best practice documentation.
