Implementation & Account Manager

Position Overview

Built is seeking a customer-obsessed Implementation & Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is designed for an individual who excels in fast-moving, high-change environments. You will be responsible for onboarding and training customers, guiding them through product adoption, and serving as a key partner in their ongoing success. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the construction ecosystem, from financial controllers to executive decision-makers, to ensure clients derive maximum value from our Construction Financials and Construction Payments products.

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding experience for new clients, tailoring each implementation to their unique needs, priorities, and goals.
  • Serve as a product expert and main point of contact during and after implementation, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and reporting bugs or edge cases to the Product team.
  • Continuously improve implementation playbooks and tooling to scale the onboarding process, leveraging AI where possible to reduce manual steps and accelerate customer value realization.
  • Partner with Sales during the pre-sales process to understand client workflows and set accurate expectations for onboarding and success.
  • Proactively manage account health, monitoring usage, identifying blockers, and advocating for clients internally.
  • Collaborate with Support to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of customer issues, while helping to define clearer ownership boundaries between teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS client-facing role (e.g., implementation, customer success, solutions consulting).
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to explain complex workflows and debug basic issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to both system users and CFOs.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in early-stage, fast-evolving environments.
  • Highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with construction finance, payments, or financial software is a significant advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 USD per year. This range accommodates career progression and reflects competitive market positioning.
