Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in human resources management, with significant expertise in labor relations and conflict management
  • Solid experience in labor relations, conflict management, and investigation
  • Excellent knowledge of pan-Canadian labor standards
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills for daily or regular interaction with pan-Canadian stakeholders
  • Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience with HR management systems, particularly HRIS systems such as Workday and Dayforce (an asset)
  • Rigorous, autonomous, creative, and able to work as part of a team in a dynamic and demanding environment

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with managers to support employee relations management and proactively resolve conflicts
  • Support managers in managing, motivating, and developing their teams, ensuring a healthy and productive work environment
  • Participate in the development and implementation of internal procedures and policies, ensuring their compliance with labor standards
  • Track changes in employee status and manage promotions, transfers, and internal mobility
  • Contribute to performance management by providing support in evaluations and managing work attendance
  • Manage and monitor files related to workplace accidents, including preparing files for internal and external audits
  • Ensure the application of human resources management principles and organizational strategies within the service center and stations
  • Manage the administrative aspects of working conditions and ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Contribute to improving the employee experience and promote a positive work environment
  • Produce statistical reports on HR performance indicators and analyze them to support strategic decisions
