Requirements

  • Proven experience in Polish payroll processing (min 2 years)
  • Strong understanding of Polish labor law and payroll regulations
  • Experience with SAP HR & Payroll or similar ERP systems is desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Fluent in Polish and strong in English

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the full payroll cycle for Polish employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Maintain payroll records, process statutory deductions, and handle employee queries
  • Support implementation and expert team during the transition of payroll services from the previous provider
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a smooth migration
  • Support the implementation of SAP HR & Payroll by validating processes, testing system functionalities (UAT), and providing expert feedback
  • Ensure compliance with Polish labor law, social security, and tax regulations
  • Preparation and submission of monthly and annual declarations to the Social Insurance Authority (ZUS) (via the Płatnik) and the National Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Fund (PFRON)
  • Deliver the services according to service levels and performance indicators in place
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
  • Contribute to documentation and training materials for new systems and processes
