Requirements

  • Convincing, flexible, team player, self-starter
  • Bachelor or Master in HR, Business Management or related
  • 7+ years of developing HR experience as HR Generalist or HRBP in a commercial, global environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the 'Wet Verbetering Poortwachter'
  • Extensive knowledge of Dutch Labor Law
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language

Responsibilities

  • Provide all-round HR partnership for part of the organization in the Netherlands
  • Proactively advise on staffing, compensation, engagement, talent management, and disputes
  • Act as Absenteeism Case Manager and support leadership throughout the Netherlands with complex absenteeism cases
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Occupational Health and Safety Service (Arbodienst), the Social Security Office (UWV), and the insurers of WGA shortfalls and surplus benefits
  • Manage the Office of Work, ensuring the optimal use of the residual capacity of partially sick colleagues
  • Act as the first point of contact for complex employment law cases and responsible for the best possible solution, using external legal support where necessary
  • Build a database containing the content, considerations, and outcomes of cases and share this with the HR team
  • As a project manager, initiate and/or supervise improvement processes related to (administrative) HR processes
