Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Payroll or UltiPro or Workday or ADP
Minimum of 3 years’ supporting and/or processing Payroll and Human Resources
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or related discipline required
Previous experience working in a unionized environment
Strong customer service focus with demonstrated skills

Responsibilities

Support and maintain SAP Employee Central (EC) and SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) for the organization
Provide advisory services, technical guidance, and support to internal customers on the operation and maintenance of EC and ECP
Stay up to date with current system releases and develop/implement strategies to address problem areas with the payroll solution, including continuous improvement strategies
Participate in meetings with stakeholders for requirements gathering, utilize established test processes, procedures, test documents, templates, and tools for all test activities
Participate in preparatory meetings to set Test Strategy, Test Plan, and objectives for year-end testing
Involved in work sessions for design documents to understand project scope and requirements, ensuring adequate documentation for test materials (test scenarios, test cases)
Manage and triage issues/defects related to HR and Payroll, troubleshoot and investigate day-to-day issues, ensure resolution and communication to the business
Provide time-sensitive support to the HR and Payroll team during weekly pay processing
Work with stakeholders to intake, document, and resolve SAP and Workforce issues tracked in the work management tool
Maintain positive relationships with HR, IT, Finance/Payroll, Management, and Administration teams
Provide off-hours support as required
Perform Payroll or HR testing for ongoing issues impacting integrations with other Custom and Enterprise Applications to maintain system integrity
Develop, implement, and document testing activities, including test planning, documentation, defect tracking, reporting, follow-up, and issue resolution for HR & Payroll issues
Assist in testing release notes
Review and evaluate requirements and design documentation to develop detailed test strategies and comprehensive test documentation; perform testing and report progress
Attend work sessions for developing design documents for existing and new processes
Develop and maintain end-user and functional specification documentation
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other business functions to design/maintain processes improving effectiveness and efficiency
Create and maintain a business process for users to submit enhancement suggestions related to payroll
