The Head of Product Marketing requires 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with a preference for experience selling to a technical audience and working with developers, particularly at a growth-stage startup. Proven experience in partnering closely with product teams to influence product strategy and establish go-to-market processes is essential, along with leadership experience in building and managing a product marketing function. Experience working with revenue teams on training, positioning, and competitive deal support is also required.
As the Head of Product Marketing, you will build product marketing foundations including messaging and positioning frameworks, buyer personas, and competitive intelligence. You will partner with product and revenue teams to bring new products to market, develop go-to-market processes, and establish go-to-market excellence for the organization. Additionally, you will be responsible for selling to multiple audiences, creating a segmentation strategy, and partnering with demand generation teams to test messages and create campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue.
