Requirements

The Head of Operations should have experience in operational leadership within a regulated sector like diagnostics, food tech, medical devices, or consumer health hardware. They must have experience scaling physical product operations from tens to thousands of units per month, ideally in a startup environment transitioning from Series A to C. A proven track record of building systems, teams, processes, and vendor networks from scratch is essential, along with hands-on leadership of internal teams and external partners. Strong command of operational systems such as MRP, inventory, and production tracking is also required.

Responsibilities

The Head of Operations will own the end-to-end physical operations lifecycle, from supplier sourcing to product delivery, ensuring cost, quality, and throughput. They will design and implement scalable processes for supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, fulfillment, and logistics, and lead the evolution from human-led to semi-automated operations. Responsibilities include developing and executing a global sourcing strategy, building operational resilience, overseeing warehousing and fulfillment, and leading the rollout of planning, MRP, inventory tracking, and order management systems. The role also involves partnering with technical teams to integrate automation and robotics, ensuring systems are fit-for-scale, and building and leading a high-performing operations team.
