Requirements

  • Leadership experience in marketing and communications, particularly in insurance or financial services
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans
  • Expertise in thought leadership, content marketing, internal/external communications, events, media relations, and sales enablement

Responsibilities

  • Lead an integrated marketing and communications team, ensuring alignment, consistency, capability strengthening, and high-performance culture
  • Mentor and develop team members in core marketing and communications disciplines
  • Provide guidance and oversight for marketing and communications plans and budgets aligned with AIG Ecuador priorities
  • Develop best practices for demand-driven thought leadership, content marketing, and social media campaigns to support sales growth
  • Partner closely with Ecuador business and functional leaders to promote consistent AIG brand identity
  • Manage Ecuador media relations, including news releases, interviews, speaking opportunities, and crisis management in coordination with corporate teams
  • Introduce compelling corporate narratives aligned with global AIG to articulate Ecuador vision, priorities, and support change management
  • Activate and leverage internal communications platforms to engage and educate AIG employees
  • Oversee content development and maintenance for specific business areas
  • Establish processes, best practices, and strategic plans for distribution engagement, product/solutions marketing, and alignment with sales to deliver AIG capabilities
