Requirements

  • Experience leading lifecycle marketing teams focused on activation, engagement, retention, and subscriptions via channels like email, push, SMS, and onsite (Braze-run)
  • Strategic mindset with deep understanding of customer behavior to evaluate opportunities and prioritize initiatives
  • Proficiency using data to shape campaign structures, strategies, and analyze campaign/channel effectiveness; establish performance baselines and best practices
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, brand, product, data science, and engineering teams to unlock new campaign opportunities
  • Strong communication skills to share learnings and proposals in well-synthesized decks/documents, break down thinking, solicit feedback, and align stakeholders
  • Capability to make quick decisions, interpret and share results to advance business understanding
  • Experience inspiring and mentoring team members to grow technical and strategic expertise in lifecycle marketing
  • Comfortable in an onsite role in San Francisco office (minimum 3 days/week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, plus as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives to enhance customer engagement
  • Lead the Lifecycle Marketing team in managing triggered and seasonal ad hoc programs to drive incremental sessions and monthly active users
  • Shape campaigns with personalized data, timely targeting, engaging copy, and creative
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize the customer journey from sign-up, activation, product adoption, retention, and subscription
  • Conduct best-in-class campaign analysis, partnering with analytics team to optimize for strong incremental results
  • Use data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior
  • Test and learn to establish playbooks for scaling winning initiatives
  • Report to the Director of Product & Lifecycle Marketing
