The Head of Lending will own the vision, strategy, execution, and outcomes of Valon's consumer-direct lending business, including origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and post-close support. They will drive growth in origination volume while focusing on customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role involves designing team structures and workflows, partnering with Product and Engineering on technology solutions, establishing performance metrics, and mentoring the lending team. The Head of Lending will also serve as a subject matter expert, advise executive leadership, ensure compliance, and stay ahead of industry trends.
