Position Overview

Zoom is seeking a strategic, insight-driven leader to build and lead our Future of Work Insights & Content function. This role is responsible for uncovering and amplifying trends shaping modern work across our diverse customer base, from startups to Fortune 100s. The Head of Future of Work Insights and Content will transform these insights into compelling, actionable content that drives conversation and influence across the industry.

About the Team

We are a high-impact, cross-functional team focused on building programs that connect brand engagement to business growth. We unify partnerships, Tier 1 events, social media, and advertising into one cohesive strategy designed to drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline across the Zoom portfolio. Our work spans the full funnel, and we stay relentlessly focused on outcomes and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and leading Zoom’s Future of Work Insights program, grounded in proprietary research, customer data, and market signals.
• Identifying and analyzing emerging trends in collaboration, AI adoption, distributed work, employee engagement, and customer experience.
• Designing and executing original research studies (quantitative and qualitative) in partnership with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• Creating high-impact, anchor content (reports, keynote storylines, executive POVs, etc.) to showcase insights across owned and earned channels.
• Serving as an internal thought partner to the CMO and executive team, helping shape narrative arcs for product launches, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
• Acting as a spokesperson and subject matter expert with media, analysts, and at industry events.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Brand, Communications, Events, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure insights are broadly shared and applied.
• Leading, motivating, and developing a team of analysts and content creators.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in research, strategy, insights, content, and thought leadership.
• Ability to turn data into stories that shift perception and spark action.
• Experience designing and analyzing research studies and socializing insights across a global organization.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills—able to make complex ideas engaging and accessible.
• Comfortable presenting to and collaborating with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
• A passion for how people work—and a curiosity to explore what’s next.

Salary Range

• Minimum: $150,800.00
• Maximum: $329,900.00

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value. There may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations due to Zoom's location-based compensation structure.
