About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned HR expert to join us as an HCM Consultant specializing in US Federal Government implementations.

Preferred experience and ability to implement in the following functional areas:

Responsibilities

The HCM Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's Human Capital Management solution, providing Workday product and implementation expertise. Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding client business requirements and configuring/testing the Workday solution.
  • Advising Workday Deployment Partners on Partner-led deployments.
  • Taking direction from and providing status updates to the assigned Engagement Manager.
  • Collaborating effectively with project teammates.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Become an expert in the Workday HCM product suite, with a focus on Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Recruiting.
  • Develop expertise in US Federal-specific Workday functionality and configuration best practices within the HCM product suite.
  • Understand and utilize Workday's Implementation Methodology on all engagements.
  • Perform the following on customer engagements:
    • Elicit and document customer business requirements.
    • Configure the Workday solution to meet requirements.
    • Document solutions for client reference.
    • Support client and data conversion teams in converting legacy data into Workday.
    • Support integration teams in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
    • Assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
    • Transfer Workday system knowledge to the customer to ensure satisfaction in their production environment.
    • Communicate regularly with the project engagement manager regarding forecasting hours, time reporting, project risks, and mitigations.
    • Provide liaison support for key functional discussions.
