Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager leading major product initiatives across Developer Tools, Integrations, and Web APIs. A background as a part-time coder and familiarity with modern AI coding tools and agentic AI architectures are required. A technical or engineering background, excellent communication skills, and a strong bias for action are also essential. Proven ability to lead multiple priorities and a strong understanding of web standards, microservice architecture, and immutable infrastructure are necessary. Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, identity access and management, or secrets management, including protocols like OAuth and OIDC, is a plus. The ability to mentor junior product managers and engineers is also a requirement.
The Group Product Manager will define and deliver on a Developer Tools roadmap, prioritizing strategic initiatives across Product, Partnerships, and Go-to-Market teams. They will interact with customers and partners to identify key features for embedding AI and developer workflows into 1Password. Responsibilities include defining and delivering on a Developer infrastructure secrets strategy, owning features and experiments end-to-end, writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, and sharing insights and results. The role also involves representing 1Password at developer conferences, meetups, and hackathons, and evangelizing the product within the developer community.
