  • Expertise in US TAVI products/solutions/clinical applications, including market sizes/trends/share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning
  • Ability to develop and oversee marketing strategy for full life-cycle activities in assigned market segment
  • General management and team leadership skills
  • Experience contributing to and influencing Sales and Marketing facets including Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials and Training, Pricing, Materials Management, Business Development, and New Product Development and Introduction
  • Capability to support new product/solutions/clinical applications development (customer requirements definition, product concept validation, financial analysis, securing Business Unit commitment through market launch)
  • Strong collaboration skills with other group managers (Mitral/Tricuspid Therapies, Surgical Solutions), TAVI Global Marketing teams, and cross-functional teams to identify synergies, best practices, and execute global initiatives
  • Location flexibility: Santa Clara, CA or Plymouth, MN

Responsibilities

  • Set the Division’s strategic direction and tactical implementation of full life-cycle activities for assigned TAVI market segment
  • Serve as core marketing owner and driver of success for Abbott Structural Heart TAVI portfolio
  • Develop and oversee Marketing strategy while contributing to/influencing Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials and Training, Pricing, Materials Management, Business Development, and New Product Development and Introduction
  • Maintain US product/solutions/clinical applications expertise and provide ongoing support for new product development including customer requirements, concept validation, financial analysis, and market launch
  • Collaborate with other Structural Heart group managers and TAVI Global Marketing to identify synergies, best practices, elevate marketing output, execute global initiatives, and influence global messaging
  • Create demand for Abbott TAVI products and develop tools to support the annual US Commercial sales plan
  • Implement strategy, scope, process, and programs related to creating demand within assigned market segment, impacting short-term, mid-range, and long-term organizational goals
