Requirements

  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex enterprise-level solutions
  • Experience with various enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Must have worked with Utilities – at least one of the Electricity/Power, Gas and Water utilities
  • Strong understanding of utilities business processes
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) architecture and enterprise integration technologies
  • Strong understanding of integration platform architecture and working experience in at least one leading integration platform system such as Mulesoft, Oracle Integration Suite etc
  • Strong in microservice architecture design patterns and experience with containerized services such as Apache Kafka, Docker or any other cloud native
  • Proficiency in solution design, architecture modeling, and enterprise-level integration
  • Strong in security architecture, including enterprise security architecture, application hosting framework, identity-access management, federated security architecture, zero trust architecture etc
  • Strong in infrastructure architecture, with deep understanding of capacity planning, design and provisioning of infrastructure required to support the solution architecture
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of data security, compliance standards, and best practices
  • Good to have: Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Good to have: Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
  • Good to have: Understanding of industry-specific solutions
  • Good to have: Integration experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Good to have: Ability to work across cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers
  • Expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services (compute, storage, networking, security)
  • Experience in API management, integration technologies (ESB, ETL, middleware)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture design and implementation of end-to-end enterprise solutions across multiple domains (e.g., cloud, data, applications, security)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into scalable, high-performance technical solutions
  • Define solution architecture for projects, ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy and enterprise architecture principles
  • Provide leadership in technology selection, architecture modeling, and design of enterprise-scale solutions
  • Guide cross-functional teams on solution implementation, from initial concept to production deployment
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security guidelines, and data privacy regulations
  • Conduct architectural reviews and lead technical workshops with stakeholders to drive alignment and issue resolution
  • Work with senior management to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in existing systems and propose solutions
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on enterprise solutions
