Requirements

Candidates must be US citizens and located in or willing to relocate to Indiana within 30 days of acceptance. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for frequent local travel. Possession of or ability to obtain BPI Building Analyst Technician, RESNET HERS Rater, or equivalent certification within 60 days of employment is necessary. At least two years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, consulting, energy efficiency, or utility sectors is highly desired, along with an interest in sustainability and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools is also required.

Responsibilities

The Energy Modeling Consultant will review data from in-home energy audits for quality assurance, ensuring all project inputs and recommendations are accurate. They will refine and calibrate projects using energy modeling software to meet BPI requirements, finalize equipment selections with customers, and generate work orders. This role involves conducting on-site assessments or field inspections, reviewing and writing inspection reports, and providing solutions for failed inspections. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing energy audit protocols, QA/QC requirements, and implementation plans. The consultant will review program QC findings, report inaccuracies, and implement solutions in collaboration with clients and program managers. They will also generate performance reports, work within a cross-functional team, and perform other assigned business operations tasks.
