Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience managing and administering full payroll offerings in the United States, including processing and oversight. Strong knowledge of payroll legislation across multiple states, tax and statutory deductions, and year-end processes is required. Experience working with and managing local vendor relationships (payroll, benefits, tax, pension) and collaborating daily with Finance/Accounting teams is essential. Familiarity with HRIS systems like Hibob and payroll systems like ADP is preferred. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours for global team collaboration and a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The Global Payroll Manager will manage and oversee monthly and semi-monthly payroll processing across U.S. and international locations (NAMER, EMEA, APAC). This includes managing payroll vendors, leading vendor check-in calls, and owning international vendor relationships. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for international employees regarding payroll queries, ensuring accurate data reporting, preparing journal entries, and reconciling pay data discrepancies. Responsibilities also include processing employee status changes, ensuring compliance through secure internal controls, maintaining accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems, and optimizing payroll processes for efficiency and improved employee experience. Additionally, the manager will support the Finance team with reports and audit requests, compile data for quarterly and year-end processing, and manage vendors for timely submission of payroll taxes and social security contributions.
