Requirements

Candidates should have 5-6 years of global or regional payments experience with a focus on operations. Proven experience leading bank integration projects via API or host-to-host connectivity and implementing automated payment files in ISO 20022 XML format is required. Deep knowledge of global banking regulations surrounding payment requirements and exceptional communication skills are essential. Fluency in English is necessary, and experience in a high-growth startup or large multinational is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Global Payments Manager will manage day-to-day payments operations, serve as a subject matter expert for country pay-out operational requirements, and support sales and cross-functional teams with banking or payment provider queries. Responsibilities include owning global payment execution, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees and contractors, researching and resolving payment reconciliation discrepancies, and leading integration efforts with banking partners and payment providers. The role also involves operationalizing new payment method execution, serving as an escalation point for complex payment issues, driving process improvements and automation, developing performance metrics and dashboards, and collaborating with various internal teams. Additionally, the manager will stay updated on payments and compliance innovations and identify cost-effective payment routing methods.
