Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering would be a benefit)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and 3 additional years of experience in Design Engineering Management with global scope
  • Minimum 5 years experience working as Product Design Engineer in Surface Wellhead company
  • Familiar with the relevant Industry Standard: API 6A, API16A, NACE MR0175
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to lead programs / projects and ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skill

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of people (Engineer, Designer, Analyst) from the SPC Engineering Centers, supporting Engineering-to-Order, Standardization, Engineering Analysis and documentations
  • Monitoring and driving KPI for the Engineering Center team, which includes On-Time-Delivery, Yield, First-Time-Yield, COPQ
  • Assessing & monitoring team member’s competency and drive training/development plan
  • Driving compliance to Engineering QMS, Common Best Practice and Standard across Engineering Center organization
  • Driving minimum variance between as-sold vs as-executed engineering cost and engineering-driven product cost
