Requirements

  • Able to work as part of a team or independently with moderate supervision
  • Excellent organizational, time and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner
  • Articulate, patient, professional, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to quickly learn new software and interfaces
  • Able to work within cross-functional teams, running client-specific projects related to geological/geophysical data
  • Previous experience working with geoscience software is desirable
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English and Portuguese (additional languages an advantage)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or earth science degree (Master’s is a plus)
  • 5 years’ experience in the E&P industry
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Experience with Kingdom or another geophysical interpretation software
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and internet functionality (experience using or managing databases like SQL Server/Oracle, Cloud, API, Map Services, BI tools is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively/reactively provide customer training via on-site visits, WebEx, phone or email to incorporate Kingdom into their workflow and drive customer satisfaction and retention
  • Troubleshoot client issues to determine root cause and provide a reasonable resolution
  • Create and deliver complex workflows in a straightforward and clear manner
  • Provide detailed information for “critical” issues to escalation teams
  • Submit enhancement requests on the client’s behalf if the desired functionality does not currently exist in the software
  • Maintain healthy relationships with sustaining engineers, product management, and development
