Program General Manager
Imprint- Full Time
- Expert & Leadership (9+ years)
Candidates should have experience managing a business or business unit in a General Manager or similar role. They must have a proven track record of accountability for aggressive growth, revenue, operating margin, and expansion targets. Personal ties to Arizona, particularly a strong local reputation in the Phoenix area, are preferred.
The General Manager will manage Primer’s expansion in Arizona, including the opening of over 20 new locations. They will work closely with leaders in real estate, education, operations, and finance to ensure new locations are launched under budget and ahead of schedule. Additionally, they will be accountable for ongoing operations in Arizona, overseeing both the P&L and operations quality, while also serving as the local face of Primer to politicians, candidates, families, team members, and potential partners.
Personalized K-8 education through Microschools
Primer provides personalized educational experiences through its Microschools, which are small, community-based institutions for K-8 students. These Microschools allow children to learn at their own pace and explore their interests, focusing on individual creativity and original thinking rather than a standardized curriculum. Unlike traditional schools, Primer emphasizes a flexible and tailored approach to education, catering to families seeking alternatives to conventional systems. The company actively involves parents in the educational process, fostering a collaborative environment. Primer operates on a tuition-based model but offers personalized payment plans and financial aid to ensure accessibility for a wider range of families. The goal is to create a more engaging and effective learning experience for children.
