Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a current Workday HCM Certification with multiple domains. A minimum of 9+ years of Workday HCM implementation or AMS experience is required, with experience handling multiple AMS engagements being a plus. Experience with Core HR and one or more of the following modules – Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and 3rd party Providers – is also necessary. Project management and/or team lead experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Workday HCM Functional Architect - Global AMS will serve as the “go-to” leader, providing expert guidance and delivery for HCM engagements. This role involves resolving client requirements through tailored Workday HCM solutions, overseeing all functional areas on assigned AMS engagements, ensuring efficient and accurate design and configuration. The individual will provide overarching guidance and leadership on HCM engagements, mentor junior project resources, partner with customers to build roadmaps, design future-ready Workday solutions, and ensure cohesive project communications between various functional areas. They will also participate in the Workday Product Lead Program, attend KSS calls, maintain certifications, support sales efforts, and conduct internal Quality Assurance. Additionally, the role involves assisting engagement/project managers and team members, tracking team performance, and demonstrating a commitment to ongoing optimization of the AMS methodology.
