Responsibilities

The Front Desk Agent will greet guests, answer phone calls and inquiries accurately, book reservations, check in and out guests, provide various services to ensure guest satisfaction, review lodging transactions, set up the front desk for night auditors, pass along important issues during shift changes, assist guests with booking transportation and other services, utilize computer systems for check-in/out functions, participate in sales efforts by booking walk-ins and upselling reservations, be accountable for monies received and responsible for turning in funds to accounting, run necessary reports and programs, maintain a guest-friendly atmosphere, utilize checklists to ensure job functions are completed, follow procedures during emergencies, assist new employees, and maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty.
