Minimum 2 years of previous food service management experience

Responsibilities
Directing department personnel to achieve merchandising, sales, and customer service goals
Communicating directly with store management and department supervisors
Selecting, onboarding, and coaching new team members
Creating and managing employee schedules
Engaging with customers through greetings, product information, selling suggestions, and active sampling, always expressing gratitude
Taking customer orders and ensuring timely and satisfactory completion
Ensuring department personnel follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ordering products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and merchandising standards
Overseeing the preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/food service items (breakfast, lunch, dinner, fried foods, pizzas, salads, soups, sandwiches, roller grill items, beverages, and snacks)
Displaying deli/food service items according to established guidelines
Following product recipes precisely
Rotating deli/food service items, ensuring quality, safety, and minimizing product shrink
Receiving merchandise, auditing invoices, breaking down orders, and positioning products in storage areas
Periodically counting product for inventory purposes
