Adaptability and flexibility to changes in responsibilities based on plant needs, including updates to GMP, EHS, Technical/New Equipment, Quality Procedures & SOPs

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and direction for plant sanitation in manufacturing operations, warehouse, and plant grounds
Implement food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and training
Drive and implement holistic plant sanitation programs, policies, and procedures for plant, warehouse, and plant grounds; assure compliance with all local, state, federal regulations, and food safety policies/procedures
Act as sanitation support in assessing and mitigating safety risks associated with construction and major maintenance
Collaborate/coordinate with Facility Supervisor, Operations Leadership, Operations Associates, and Site Cleaning staff to achieve desired Environmental Monitoring performance and Pest Control performance
Evaluate facility sanitary conditions, assess risk based on food safety and public health principles, prioritize corrective actions, and verify sanitation activities and validation testing
Evaluate monthly environmental samples for monitoring of pathogenic organisms in plant, trend results, and develop corrective actions
Ensure conformance to master cleaning schedule and applicable cGMP guidelines, best practices, and requirements
Assist in developing and implementing all sanitation-related training for sanitation staff
