Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate a minimum of one year of experience in a retail or customer service environment, with prior leadership experience being a strong advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work a varied schedule and maintain product knowledge.

Responsibilities

The Floor Lead will contribute to an environment where employees are informed and capable by supporting training, model and hold employees accountable to customer service standards, communicate performance issues directly to the General Manager or Store Manager, support sales driving initiatives, direct employees to ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations, and consistently follow Sur La Table policies and standard operating procedures, complete inventory transactions, ring employee transactions, and demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills with employees and customers. They will also accurately record time worked, stay informed by accessing training and seeking additional resources, and perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or Store Manager.
