Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a retail environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to coach and motivate employees. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management procedures is also required.
The Floor Lead will contribute to employee training and development, model and enforce customer service standards, communicate Sur La Table policies and procedures to employees, provide coaching and performance feedback, support sales driving initiatives, ensure merchandise presentation and stock levels are maintained, complete inventory transactions, ring employee transactions, and accurately record time worked. They will also demonstrate exceptional communication skills with employees and customers, and maintain product knowledge while adhering to company policies and procedures.
