Candidates should possess an Associate's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must have a minimum of two years of related customer service experience with proven customer service skills, an advanced understanding of Investment or Income markets or products, and a basic understanding of tax implications. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of calls/case load with accuracy, and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks are also required.
The FINRA Customer Service Representative will deliver a personalized and remarkable experience for clients by answering questions, providing servicing options, and assisting with products or services through call center interactions. They will resolve inquiries and transactions at a basic to intermediate level, research solutions to complex problems, take ownership of calls, anticipate issues, de-escalate client situations, serve as a trusted advocate for Financial Representatives, embrace new technology, educate clients on website and self-service capabilities, understand risks and impacts of transactions, drive change and continuous improvement, foster professional client relationships, handle phone and transactional responsibilities with confidentiality, and shift work priorities to meet business and customer demands.
