Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of two years’ experience in the mutual fund or alternative investment funds industry. Strong accounting and financial reporting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and self-motivation are also required.

Responsibilities

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for drafting annual, quarterly, and other financial statements for clients, supporting internal and external reviews of these documents, preparing and providing necessary documentation to clients and assisting with filings with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). You will also assist in managing communications with fund accounting teams and external auditors, provide administrative support to the team, contribute to the preparation of Board related materials and annual prospectus updates for mutual funds, and communicate with internal and external clients to resolve issues and questions.
