About the Team

As a member of our diverse and skilled Medium Enterprise Solution Consulting Financial Services North America team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers. This team brings the value of Workday solutions to life and showcases how the world of work can be transformed. You will work closely with our sales counterparts and sit at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.

About the Role

In this role, you will maximize your polished presentation abilities, collaborative presales experience, and your finance and accounting expertise to articulate and differentiate the value for and expand the adoption of Workday products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • The delivery of relevant product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
  • Assisting in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
  • Contributing to the qualification of prospects and customers, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds, and sales cycle closure plans.
  • Supporting all sales, marketing, technical, and channel objectives.
  • Assisting sales in the response to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Sr. Solution Consultant: 3+ years of accounting functional, implementation, Presales, and/or consulting experience.
  • Solution Consultant: 2+ years of accounting functional, implementation, Presales, and/or consulting experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and demo presentation skills.
  • Must have the desire and ability to drive success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply technologies to address business challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of a degree, proven related experience applicable for the role.
  • Experience working with operational, financial, and analytics data.
  • Unrivaled professional presentation experience, to the C-Suite.
  • Prior presales experience in selling EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) applications to the CFO’s organization is a plus.
