Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, including sales experience
  • Minimum three years general experience and three years industry/technology experience; financial services or cold calling experience preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required or ability to obtain in specified timeframe
  • Exceptional client relationship management experience and sales consultative skills

Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales results and sales activity goals as set by the leadership team; identifies opportunities and moves clients through the sales process toward larger growth goals
  • Drives results and raises awareness of Vanguard’s investment products and services through targeted cold calls and virtual communications
  • Executes sales and lead generation strategy for outreach, focusing on growing relationships, attracting new high-value and high net worth clients, and generating advisor consultations
  • Serves as a key member of the dedicated outreach team, helping set strategy and tactics; provides feedback on campaigns and lead sources
  • Develops expertise in capital markets, investment management industry, and marketplace developments; acts as trusted consultant using product knowledge
  • Proactively assesses new opportunities and risks in competitive and investment environment
  • Assesses client needs with targeted questions, positions appropriate products/services, and asks for the client’s business
  • Serves as a role model for new team members
  • Proactively supports broader corporate initiatives, participates in special projects, and performs other duties as assigned
