Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths (at Grade 5 or above), English Language, and Science/Technology at a Grade 9-4
  • A keen interest in having a career in finance
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Must pass a free, four-day, online Bookkeeping for Level 3 course, including six Achievement Ladder Step assessments

Responsibilities

  • Study for a Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification (18 months)
  • Complete a Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting with AAT (further 18 months)
  • Complete placements within at least two Finance functions, such as Accounting and Planning, Programmes Finance, Cost Control, Treasury, or Bids and Contract Evaluation
  • Work full time for the final 12 months to gain practical experience
  • Undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)
