Requirements

  • Minimum of University education required with a diploma background in Medical Devices, Technologies, Medical physics, Electronics, Engineering
  • Fan of the healthcare technology & industry
  • Passion to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Comfortable to communicate in English (oral and written) and Romanian
  • Team-spirited person
  • Strong analytical and manual skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of electronics and IT
  • Willingness and ability to frequently travel domestically during Apprentice Program
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones

Responsibilities

  • Assisting more experienced technicians and FSE’s (Field Service Engineers) on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively
  • Working as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area
  • Documenting all actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule
  • Ensuring proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration
  • Maintaining approved parts inventory
  • Managing vendor’s service delivery processes in compliance with GE HealthCare policies, as instructed
  • Enhancing and maintaining technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction
  • Meeting Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety requirements and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
