Basic accounting knowledge (equivalent to a minimum of a 3rd-grade bookkeeping license) is preferred
Experience in accounting and/or financial accounting is a plus
High level of communication skills in Japanese is essential

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to create monthly forecasts, develop annual budgets, and drive strategic planning
Monitor and analyze sales, revenue, and expense impacts, comparing them to monthly forecasts and reporting the differences
Identify and assess risks and opportunities, and proactively monitor and escalate execution status against budgets and forecasts
Contribute to initiatives aimed at mitigating profit reductions and driving cost reduction activities
Participate in various projects and tasks, providing financial analysis-based advice
Perform management accounting tasks in accordance with company accounting standards and ensure adherence to internal controls
Manage the balance sheet, including fixed assets, sales accruals/deferrals, and cost accruals/deferrals, as well as accounts receivable
Work with subject matter experts to obtain assistance (revenue recognition, tax, cash collection, SOX compliance)
Serve as a trusted advisor to sales and delivery IT engineers
Maintain timely communication and collaboration with accounting personnel
