Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with over 8 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, including financial forecasting and revenue analysis. Strong project management skills are essential, along with a customer service mindset and experience supporting finance professionals and communicating insights to diverse audiences, including senior leadership. Advanced English proficiency, advanced Excel skills (complex functions), and familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, OBIEE, Tableau, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView are required.
The Revenue Finance Expert will serve as a liaison between the FP&A team and the GFS billing team to ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS standards. Key responsibilities include leading month-end close activities, contributing to audit readiness, and maintaining adherence to internal controls and finance reporting requirements. This role involves performing revenue analysis, investigating variances, and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies. The expert will also review billing and contract data for revenue recognition, manage journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, and promote communication between billing, finance, and sales teams to resolve revenue-related inquiries and align processes. Additionally, they will partner with internal and external auditors, identify process improvements, support automation projects, and contribute to SOP documentation.
