Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in chemistry analysis, electronics, or related majors
  • At least 2 years of work experience in instrument maintenance in the life sciences industry
  • Ability to solve system analysis problems and strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of instrument industry after-sales service business models and strong business awareness
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills, able to effectively communicate with customers having specific needs
  • Strong English reading and writing skills, with basic English oral communication ability
  • Compliance awareness, adherence to industry and company policies, no disclosure of trade secrets
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Windows system and Microsoft Office software
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to meet the needs of instrument sites dispersed across regions

Responsibilities

  • Provide after-sales service for company product lines in designated areas, including instrument installation, basic operation training, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support to ensure customer can continue operating instruments and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Support company after-sales business growth and cooperate with sales team to promote business opportunities
  • Complete instrument repair services as arranged by the company within specified timeframes, including installation, basic training, and periodic maintenance for mass spectrometry equipment and other peripheral devices, following SOPs in the company manual
  • Provide telephone support and on-site repair services to customers within response timeframes based on customer needs and warranty status
  • Report unresolved repair issues accurately and timely per company escalation process, and contact relevant repair experts for quick resolution
  • Communicate promptly with other departments on customer application or business issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete and submit written reports on time as required, including installation reports, acceptance reports, periodic maintenance reports, repair service reports, etc
  • Return repair spare parts (good and defective parts) on time
  • For paid repair customers, handle timely signing and confirmation of payments, and assist in timely collection of payments
  • Maintain close contact and communication with customers, identify potential needs, promote maintenance contracts, paid services, and accessory sales to support after-sales business growth
  • Complete various company-arranged trainings on time to continuously improve repair technical skills and service levels
  • Closely cooperate with regional sales team, provide professional services, support product and solution promotion, and contribute to new instrument and repair business development
