Requirements

  • Degree in a medical or technical field
  • 2–3 years of experience supporting procedures in the operating room
  • Preferred experience with implantable therapies
  • Fluent in English and Italian; Arabic is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support during and after device implantation across the Middle East and other Emerging Markets, with secondary coverage in Italy (70% Emerging Markets focus, 30% Italy)
  • Collaborate with the EM Division Manager and sales teams to ensure efficient support for implants and follow-ups
  • Stay current with therapy developments and healthcare market dynamics in covered regions
  • Apply best practices throughout the implant process
  • Monitor competitive products and activities
  • Follow Abbott’s complaint and field action procedures
  • Act as a “Train the Trainer” for the EM region
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical inquiries from customers and internal teams
  • Support internal training events, courses, and seminars
  • Respond to training-related requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent Abbott with professionalism and integrity
  • Adhere to all relevant Quality System Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain knowledge of Field Safety Corrective Actions and related SOPs as part of the Field Action Team
