Requirements

Candidates must possess a post-secondary school diploma in electronics engineering and a minimum of two years of experience in a field service position, along with demonstrated proficiency in multiple vendor product lines and knowledge of basic test equipment such as DMMs and tachometers. A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are also required, as is proof of Covid-19 vaccination and the ability to travel internationally if needed.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Representative will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining a variety of laboratory equipment products, scheduling and completing preventative maintenance service, understanding customer needs to promote service contracts, documenting service actions, maintaining professional communication with customers, adhering to ISO standards, working with manufacturers for warranty service, and providing training to colleagues. They will also be responsible for handling expenses, managing spare parts inventory, and traveling to customer sites while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
