Requirements

  • Associate degree, equivalent military training programs, or equivalent biomedical/technical field service experience (3-5 years field experience preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, including troubleshooting project setup, technical issues, and remote closeouts within multiple software programs
  • Professional business acumen and effective communication skills
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure on-time project completion
  • Active and unrestricted driver’s license and a personal vehicle in good running condition
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status
  • Must be within 45 minutes - 1 hour of an international or major airport (candidates within 30 miles preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products
  • Conducting routine checks and recording data from product tests after installation and configuration
  • Providing ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff
  • Documenting and submitting daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation
  • Leading a team to complete preventative maintenance and other services as needed for medical devices (primarily infusion pumps and batteries)
  • Traveling locally, regionally, and nationally based on assignment schedules
  • Completing other duties as directed by management
