Requirements

Practical experience as a service engineer (any product welcome)
Experience using scientific/analytical instruments
Ability to connect instruments to networks and operate PCs
Comfortable with English and willing to learn
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Transport IC instruments to customer laboratories, confirm installation sites, and perform piping and wiring
Power up the instrument, install software, configure initial parameters, and verify basic operation
Explain and train customers on basic operation, software use, and routine maintenance methods
Visit customer sites periodically under contract to clean the instrument, replace consumables, verify operation, and perform calibration
Identify potential issues early and perform inspections or part replacements to prevent failures
Record maintenance/inspection results and submit reports to customers
Respond to customer calls, check the situation via phone or remote access, and visit as needed to identify the cause of failure
Replace defective parts, make adjustments, or correct software issues to restore normal operation
Provide rapid response for emergency support when customer experiments are impacted
Answer customer questions regarding operation, analysis methods, or troubleshooting via phone, email, or site visits
Provide specialized training tailored to customer needs on advanced operations and applications
Provide customers with updates on new applications and technical information
Participate in overseas business trips as required
